Sooo if you know me you know I really hate graphical emoticons especially when I type text and it changes automatically to something dumb like a full body cat like wth.

Because of that I'm never going to add hooks for common text smilies like :) etc.

Instead, for now, we have templated ones! Thanks to Yai we have a nice set of emoticons inspired by Mabi's in game emotions.

You can find a list here and more information here.

In coordination with this I added a new parser hook #color, like {{#color:color|component=modification|command|...}} I don't really wanna get into too much detail because no one will ever use it but color is any CSS form, component is one of rgbahsl, modification is either a rote number for a set or + some number or - some number or some combination therein, and command can be darken or lighten. No arguments are actually required. I've uploaded the extension with documentation here.

I dunno if I should add a link or click buttons near the reply box or not yet, feel free to weigh in.

Hooray, now we can finally show some emotion when we post something! Naive
I suppose it's not possible to add them into the editor somehow? Or perhaps a mouseoverbox somewhere.

Just not sure how I want to. Welcoming suggestions.

Thank you for all your hard work.

Let me know if there's anything I can do to help.

So I enabled WikiEditor by default, which is much prettier, and added an Emotes menu to it. It took a little customization of the extension, if any outsiders google this up. Also, it saves what colour you select so you can go back to your favorite colour super easily. Woo!

Let me know if you want any other colours added to the list. There's a link to the list of CSS colour names on the template page for reference. Of course # forms would also be accepted, names just look nicer.
